Paguera is a locality in the municipality of Calvià, Majorca, and has been nicknamed 'Little Germany' by many, due to its popularity among German visitors.
The locality is located about 6 km north of Santa Ponsa and close to Camp de Mar, and consists of three fine sandy beaches: Peguera Romana, Torà and Palmira de Peguera, all of which offer facilities sought after by holidaymakers wishing to spend a day of sun, sea and fun.
Peguera is also a good place to stay if you want to explore the natural environment of south-west Majorca, as it has excellent access to hiking trails and is also within easy reach of some of the villages in the Serra de Tramuntana.
The community is totally international; Peguera is known for its cleanliness and all kinds of services and restaurants for tourists can be found in its centre. Peguera also has direct access to the motorway to Palma, which is only 30 minutes away.
